Piers Newson-Smith

EYDirector of Brand Strategy and Planning

Piers is Director of Brand Strategy and Planning at EY UK. He was previously Head of Brand Planning at Direct Line Group, where he led brand strategy across the portfolio, including the design of the relaunch of Direct Line as a ‘fixer’. He began his career at various consumer PR agencies, before moving client-side to work on brands including cahoot, Abbey, Bank of Ireland and the Post Office. Outside of work, he’s a dad of two and a keen cyclist.
