The right shaped marketer
There is much debate about what makes for a modern marketer. The skills needed to succeed now and in the future. Do they need to be T-shaped and boast knowledge, understanding and application of marketing fundamentals, but also have a depth of specialist knowledge? Or be V-shaped and specialist in lots of different areas.
The answer of course is, it depends. It depends on the role and context. But that doesn’t stop people posting about what’s needed now and next.
Interesting to hear then from someone who is responsible for recruitment at one of the biggest marketing organisations in the world.
