Heineken to ‘significantly’ increase marketing spend as it seeks to maintain ‘balanced growth’
Heineken is aiming to generate growth “balanced” between volume increases and pricing going forward, and is “significantly and materially” increasing its marketing spend to do so.
Heineken hailed a return to “balanced growth” in the first half of its financial year, as it grew volumes globally across the business.
CEO Dolf van den Brink said that the business has been prioritising more “balanced” growth this year, having seen abnormal levels of pricing last year during high inflation.
