Marketing recruitment intent rises to highest level in over a year
Exclusive data from IPA Bellwether shows marketers are feeling more positive about recruitment as budgets return to growth.
Following subdued feelings towards employment in the last quarter, marketers are expecting employment at their companies to improve over the next three months – confirmation that budgets are bouncing back after a tough economic period.
While almost a fifth (18%) of marketers predicted job losses in Q2, this has dropped to 10% this quarter. Almost 27% expect recruitment to be higher – slightly lower than Q1’s 29.5% – while the majority (63%) believe it will stay the same.
