Pernod Ricard to step up brand activations in each market despite declining sales
Pernod Ricard, which owns brands including Malibu and Absolut, is using its digital and tech capabilities to activate 15 to 20 brands in each market, compared to six to eight previously.
Pernod Ricard is activating more of its brands in each of its markets, despite seeing a sales decline over the past year.
The drinks business, which owns brands including Absolut, Malibu and Chivas, saw an organic sales decline of 1% year over year for the 52 weeks ended 30 June. Its total sales for the year were €11.60bn (£9.76bn), while profits were €3.12bn (£2.62bn), up 1.5% from 2023 levels.
