‘How would I launch a record?’: One B2B brand on its disruptive B2C push
Promoting the power of regenerative farming, Wildfarmed has evolved from selling flour to bakeries to getting its bread onto supermarket shelves.
From independent bakeries to chain restaurants, Wildfarmed’s flour can be found in bread, pasta and pizza across the UK. While its B2B business is booming, last month the brand made its first foray into B2C, launching a bread range on supermarket shelves.
Kate Davies arrived as marketing director from her previous role at the Guardian last October, tasked with growing the B2B business and expanding into B2C. The launch of the bread products onto Waitrose shelves in May was a big moment for Wildfarmed, she says.
“We didn’t see it as just a product launch. We saw it as a brand and product launch,” states Davies.
