Guinness is launching its biggest-ever global campaign as it celebrates its debut as the official beer of the Premier League.
The Diageo-owned stout brand has unveiled four adverts to bring the partnership to life for football and Guinness fans across the globe, as the Premier League kicks off tonight (16 August). The sponsorship is Guinness’s first global partnership in football.
While based in England, the Premier League has global reach – it’s the most-watched football league on the planet, with games broadcast into 1 billion homes in 189 countries.
Given the Premier League’s global reach, Guinness is taking a global approach. It is looking to activate the global partnership in more than 70 countries. The four ads it has produced are also aimed at reaching fans across continents, from Seoul to the Outer Hebrides.
