Should marketers be searching for ‘AI literate’ talent?
AI: Beyond the Hype. Should marketing leaders ramp up training in new tech for their existing teams or look to recruit talent with AI ‘expertise’?
AI skills have become a “must-have in marketing”, according to a new report from LinkedIn. The number of marketers who added AI as a skill on their LinkedIn profile doubled between 2022 and 2023, while the most popular interview question of 2024 so far is: “Tell me about how you are using AI at work and at home.”
LinkedIn’s 2024 Marketing Jobs Outlook found more than two-thirds of B2B marketing leaders are using AI applications. The majority plan to use AI for the specific purposes of building more content in less time (56%), improving efficiency (55%) and creating engaging content (51%).
