General Mills, the business behind brands including Old El Paso and Häagen-Dazs, has brought back the global CMO role, promoting Doug Martin to the position.
Martin has been the FMCG giant’s top marketer for the past three years, but in the role of chief brand and disruptive growth officer. As the company’s priorities shift post-pandemic, though, it was decided a CMO was again needed to steer the agenda.
