There is only one story that is dominating the world of search this week: the landmark decision that found Google guilty of building an illegal monopoly over the online search and advertising industry.
It was a seismic decision from the US court and the consequences of it will not be known for a long time to come (not least since Alphabet, the owner of Google, will appeal the decision) but it’s fascinating to see how we got here.
