On the agenda…
The Advertising Association has today (1 August) published its inaugural report from its AI Taskforce detailing the creative successes, potential dangers and regulatory challenges the nascent technology brings to marketers.
The taskforce was established in September 2023 and is co-chaired by Google and VCCP as well as the wider Advertising Association membership. This first report, then, is less about looking to lay out hard-and-fast guidelines for marketers to follow in adopting generative AI – but more about building communities and sharing best practice. Its split into three parts: The AI Context and Opportunity, AI in Action and Regulation, Sustainability and Ethics in AI.
