These results are really really late! They’re late! What can we say? We? There’s only one of us (shush Smeagol) and the Wyrdmaster was ambushed by RealLife™ (failed saving throw).

What does this mean? There were an extra day or two of votes and then a big delay as the database sat idle. Fear not, these results are safe and sound… next year we’re getting expert vote counters in from the sunny State of Florida to assist and so we’re sure the Weird GameWyrd Game Awards will run smoothly!

Thanks to everyone who votes – as per usual there are always hundreds of votes as other web sites rallied friends, families and complete strangers to come here and vote for their favourites. To all those complete strangers out there; come in and have a cup of tea!

Voting is over and the results are in. Ladies, gentlemen, orcs and elves, we have our Wyrd Winners! Competition was fierce; we had several thousand votes and in some cases the winners in the most competitive categories won by only a handful of votes!

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time out to vote. We know comparing covers to decide between candidates in the “Cwor! The Sexiest Front Cover” category was a chore! When we say “Caffeine Powered Robot” we mean it in the “love of the industry” sort of way!

Congratulations to all the Wyrd Winners. Each Weird GameWyrd Game Award has been fought over and each one is well deserved. Congratulations also the runners up, especially those smaller and independent RPG companies and products which punched far above their weight in terms of fan base and industry awareness.

Is it over until next year? Not quite! Remember, we keep the voting booths open on the Game Awards themselves throughout the year. You can nominate a nomination to ditch, suggest a new category or do both.

Huzzah and Bravo to the Wyrd Winners! So-close to the runners up. So close, in fact, that after writing this introduction but before putting this page live the Wyrdmaster is going to re-count the votes just to be sure.

Votes? Votes! 4, 771 votes! Thanks to the RPG internet community for making the Weird GameWyrd Game Awards so successful; these awards matter and they’re just in their first year, and just being nominated helps promote RPG companies large and small.

Is that the Weird GameWyrd Game Awards done until the end of the year? Oh no! If you thought one of the twelve awards was too boring, too silly or even if you have a better suggestion – then go forth to the Awards Awards Nomination page. There you can vote to have one of the current awards booted out and you can suggest a better one. If by the end of the year there are enough votes against an award and good suggestions for a better one then we’ll make the switch official. What’s that mean? It means one of the Wyrd Winners below might not just be the first to win the award – but might be the last too! Now that’s an exclusive award.
